JIS 10K Lift Check Valve can also be called a spring check valve. There is a spring inside to reset it. Due to the pressure of the medium at the inlet end of the pipeline, the valve can be opened by overcoming the resistance of the spring. When the medium pressure at the inlet end is lower than that at the outlet end, the spring pushes the valve core to the valve seat to close the valve, preventing the medium from flowing back, so it acts as a check.
JIS 10K flange spring check valve

Its internal structure is very different from the swing check valve
JIS 10K flange Lift Check Valve

The valve can be installed vertically or horizontally due to the spring-supported valve core.Because the horizontal installation of the internal valve stem will be affected by the downward gravity, the valve core will be unevenly stressed during use, and the main installation method is recommended to be installed vertically.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I install this spring-loaded lift check valve in a vertical pipe?
Confirm the permitted installation orientation and flow direction for the exact selected configuration before installation. Provide the piping arrangement and operating conditions for review; the presence of a spring alone is not a substitute for the model-specific installation instructions.
What flow information should I provide to check whether this valve suits my system?
Provide the medium, minimum and normal operating flow, design pressure, temperature and expected reverse-flow conditions. Ask for the selected model’s operating and pressure-loss information rather than assuming suitability from the nominal pipe size alone.
How do I check the flange connection before ordering this JIS 10K lift check valve?
Compare the selected valve size, flange drilling, facing and face-to-face dimensions with the mating piping specification and approved drawing. Include installation clearance and service-access requirements in the order review.
